I thought I would merge some of my hobbies together. I am some what of a gamer. I play board games, card games, dice games and miniature games. Some of these games have components that are very nice looking and very photographical.
I am going to start with my current favorite game. Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Games. It is a fighter combat game. It is a very enjoyable game and well, it's STAR WARS!
This first miniature is called an Imperial Decimator.
Here is a bur plant photographed with the depth of field very shallow and different parts of the plant as the primary focus. Each of these were cropped and rotated to isolate the area's I wanted to highlight.
This is from a construction site downtown. It has these two cinder block tower on opposite corners of the building. It looked unusual to me so I walk by it frequently out of curiosity. This was a overcast winter day and I notice the sun was in an interesting position. So I took a few photo's knowing the cloud cover would make the photo' look gray and drab. I am still not sure I like these but I like the concept.
Today is a cloudless day. Maybe I will walk over there and try again.
