Dried Flowers In The Dark

I like shooting photo's of objects emerging from/fading into the dark, so you will see this type of shot frequently in my blog.

These are some flower that were given to my wife for Mother's Day. When they started to dry up I snatched them and put them somewhere safe until I had a chance to photograph them.

I am shooting them on a black background, mostly in the dark and with some flash's with no modifiers. I need to buy or make some light modifiers to soften the light a little.
