I am seeing more and more wild flowers along side the hiking trails I walk. Here are a few.
These were all early morning photos. The color of the sun in the last two is really nice. It has been difficult to get to the trails early enough to see the color. I want to get on the trail before sunrise on a day with some nice sky color. Those days are hard to predict.
This is one of the trails I walk frequently. The leaning trees make it an interesting space. |

Early morning sun highlighting the tree and fog in the background. The early sun added some nice color too. |
Back in mid March we had a couple of very foggy mornings. I thought it might be interesting to go outside and take a few photo's. The early morning darkness and the fog did not work well together. The light trails were good but the fog blurred the background to much
I did get a few good light trails and few good foggy pictures. But the two together did not work well from my point of view. Maybe you will like them better than I do.
I plan on doing some more light trail photos when it is not foggy sometime soon.

I shot these photo's in late March early in the morning at Happy Hollow Park. As you can see it was a cold morning. I remember my fingers being numb even from the short exposure to the air. I was wearing some thick wool mittens that the finger part folded back to allow you to use your fingers.
Here is a final photo to warm you back up. It is not a great shot but the red glow of the early morning sun looks nice.
I will mostly likely will loose some readers with this next statement.
White chocolate is WAY better than non-white chocolate.
I like non-white chocolate, but white will always be my choice between the two.
This second photo is the result of taking too long to setup the first photo. It ward hard to find something to prop up the bunny that was heavy enough but small enough to not show up behind the bunny.
While hiking a few weeks ago I found this padlock locked to some fencing attached to an old metal bridge. It was the Davis Ferry Bridge. This bridge also has a Facebook Page. Hmmm.
Does this lock have some meaning or is it just random weirdness?
