On my Saturday hike (8 miles) I photographed a large quantity of ice chunks scattered along the trail left over from the freezing of the river. I was going to call this post "Iceburgs along the Wabash". Or something clever like that.
But I encountered two problems. One was that most of the hike was along a tributary of the Wabash river called Burnett's Creek. The other problem was that almost all of the photo's came out CRAPPY! It was an overcast gloomy day, I was very gloomy and the pictures were very boring.
I did manage to take a few pictures that are moderately suitable for publishing. My favorite one is the water drops hitting the water. But that was a heavily cropped photo, so it is blurrier than I would have preferred.
I really wish this winter would end. It has greatly effected my mood this year. Life is kinda sucking right now and this long, cold snowy winter is not helping. It will be 60 degrees today and tommorrow. Then 5-8 inches of snow are being predicted this Wednesday.
